Who we are

Swish Built is a licensed carpentry business operating in Adelaide, South Australia. You can reach us any time on 0417 868 620 or at swishbuilt@outlook.com.

What we collect

Only what we need to quote your job:

• Your name
• Your phone number
• Your email address
• Your suburb
• The type of work you're after, and anything you tell us about it
• Any photos you choose to send us — these are optional

We collect this when you fill in the quote form on this website, when you submit a form attached to one of our ads on Facebook or Instagram, or when you call, text or email us directly.

What we do with it

We use your details to prepare your quote and to get back to you about it — by phone, text or email. That's it. We don't sell your information, we don't rent it, and we don't add you to a marketing list without you asking us to.

Who else sees it

We keep your details to ourselves. A small number of service providers handle them on our behalf purely so the business can function:

• Meta (Facebook and Instagram) — if you submit a form attached to one of our ads, Meta passes your details to us. Meta's own handling of your data is covered by their privacy policy.
• Netlify — hosts this website and receives quote form submissions.
• Our email provider — so we can write back to you.

We may also disclose information where the law requires it.

How long we keep it

We keep quote enquiries for as long as we may reasonably need them — to follow up, to honour a warranty, or to meet our record-keeping obligations. If you'd rather we didn't, tell us and we'll delete it.

Getting at your information, or having it deleted

You can ask us at any time to tell you what we hold about you, to correct it, or to delete it. Email swishbuilt@outlook.com or ring 0417 868 620 and we'll sort it out. There's no charge, and you don't need to give a reason.

Security

We take reasonable steps to keep your details safe and to limit who can see them. No system is perfect, and we won't pretend otherwise — but we don't hold payment details, and we don't keep more than the job needs.

Cookies

This website doesn't set advertising or tracking cookies of its own. If you arrived from one of our Facebook or Instagram ads, Meta may use its own cookies and tracking, governed by Meta's privacy policy and your settings on those platforms.

Complaints

If you're unhappy with how we've handled your information, tell us first — we'd rather fix it. If we can't resolve it between us, you can contact the Office of the Australian Information Commissioner at oaic.gov.au.

Changes

If we change this policy we'll update the date at the top of this page.
